Privacy Policy for FinalSend

FinalSend ("we," "our," or "the app") is a personal safety and digital legacy application developed by Luther Hub. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Information We Collect

When you use FinalSend, we collect the following:

• Account information: your full name, email address, and password (your password is encrypted and never visible to us).
• Trigger content: the messages, recipient names, and recipient email addresses you create as part of your dead man's switch triggers.
• Emergency contacts: the names, email addresses, and relationship labels of people you choose to add as emergency contacts.
• Location data: your device's GPS coordinates, but only at the exact moment you activate the SOS emergency feature. We do not track or store your location at any other time.
• Check-in activity: timestamps of when you confirm you are safe, and your chosen check-in interval.
• Push notification token: a unique identifier for your device, used solely to deliver check-in reminders to your phone.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate the dead man's switch feature: monitoring your check-ins and delivering your pre-written trigger messages if you miss your check-in window.
• To operate the SOS feature: sending your selected alert type and location to your chosen emergency contacts when you activate it.
• To send you reminder notifications about upcoming check-in deadlines.
• To maintain and improve the security and reliability of the app.

Third-Party Services We Use

FinalSend relies on the following service providers to function:

• Supabase — provides our database, user authentication, and backend infrastructure. Your account data and trigger content are stored securely on Supabase's servers.
• SendByte — delivers the emails sent by FinalSend, including trigger messages and SOS alerts.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or any other third party for marketing purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, triggers, emergency contacts, and alert history from our systems.

Location Data

FinalSend only accesses your device's location when you actively press and hold the SOS button. We do not track your location in the background, and location access can be denied in your device settings at any time — though doing so means SOS alerts will be sent without coordinates.

Children's Privacy

FinalSend is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Delete Your Account

To delete your FinalSend account and all associated data, open the app, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Deleting your account permanently and immediately removes:

• Your profile information (name, email, check-in history)
• All triggers you created, including their messages and recipients
• All emergency contacts you added
• Your history of past danger alerts
• Your login credentials themselves — you will not be able to log back in with the same account

No data is retained after deletion, and no additional retention period applies.
